SURESH PRABHU



If you see Suresh Prabhu be sure to give him a round of applause.  He battled his way to 68th place in the WSOP Main Event!

Here is a highlight from his game:

With the action folded around to Reggie Lyons in the small blind, he moved all in for his last 310,000. Suresh Prabhu made the call, and Lyons had to have been disappointed to see that he didn't even have two live cards, as his {J-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} were dominated by Prabhu's {A-Spades} {3-Hearts}. And when Suresh made a pair on the {A-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {2-Spades} flop, it was all over but the shouting. Well, there wasn't any shouting, just the {2-Hearts} on the turn and {10-Clubs} on the river, and Lyons' Main Event came to an end. Prabhu is now up to 2.38 million.

It was folded around to Suresh Prabhu in the small blind and he moved in for his last 570,000 with {J-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} . But Ylon Schwartz woke up with {K-Clubs} {K-Spades} in the big blind and when the {8-Hearts} {6-Spades} {3-Clubs} {5-Spades} {2-Spades} board brought Prabhu no help he was eliminated.

Hey everybody!

Remember that the second set of play-ins for the 2008 Jeep Patriot Full House Hold'em Promo-Mobile (what a mouthful!) are coming up next week.  They will be held May 7th, 2008 to May 13th, 2008.  You play at the show that you came in 1st or 2nd at.  Please remember that the play-in will run along side the regular show, so everyone who didn't qualify can still play for points.  We will be awarding points to the top 8 of the play-in as well, so don't worry about having to choose!

Here is the schedule for winners of shows that have cancelled.  This schedule may be changed, so keep checking to make sure you know where you're supposed to go.  We tried to move qualifiers to new shows in the same area on the same night:
Spotted Dog winners will play at a separate table at Smith's Olde Bar on Wednesday.
Jocks and Jills winners will play at Hooters in Canton on Monday.
Beef O'Brady's winners will play at a separate table at Barnacles in Norcross on Tuesday.
Cheyenne Grille winners will play at Checkered Parrot on Friday.
Cherokee Lanes Sunday winners will play at Sidelines in Kennesaw on Sunday.
Midtown Tavern Monday and Friday winners will play at Midtown Tavern as originally planned.  The Friday show will start at 7:30.
Both Tuesday and Sunday shows at Indigo Joes in Suwanee will be moved to the Tavern at Medlock's Tuesday and Sunday shows.
Johnny's Hideaway winners will play at a seperate table at Smiths on Monday.
Wild West Bar & Grill winners will play on Saturday at Wild West Bar & Grill.  The Saturday show will start at 5:00.
The Alley winners will play Tuesday at Johnny's Pizza (across the street).  The game will start at 8:00.

Every show acts as its own mini-league.  Every time you place in first
or second you get a seat in THAT SHOW'S play-in tournament.  The
winners of the play-in tournaments will play each other in the CAR
FINAL TOURNAMENT where the 1st place finisher will win a 2008 JEEP
PATRIOT SPORT!
The car promotion qualifying games (shows and play-ins) will last a
total of 26 weeks, and a final tournament.  There are two 12 week
runs, with one week between the two for one play-in week, another week
at the end of the second 12-week run for the second set of play-in
tournaments and the car final tournament will take place with location
and date to be announced.

We will be driving it around for all of you to see it.  We
will also be letting all players know by email (if you aren't

November 13th, 2007 to February 5th, 2008 = first 12 week run
February 6th, 2008 to February 12th, 2008 = first set of play-in
tournaments at each show (league games will run simultaneously)
February 13th, 2008 to May 6th, 2008 = Everything resets and we start the second 12 week run
May 7th, 2008 to May 13th, 2008 = second set of play-in tournaments at
each show (league games will run simultaneously)
DATE AND LOCATION TBA = CAR FINAL TOURNAMENT - Winners of first and second sets of play-in tournaments play each other for the car!

SOME BASIC RULES
 -Only one car will be awarded as a prize during this promotion.
-This promotion is only open to those who are 21 years of age or older.  In the event someone under the age of 21 places in the top 2, the entry for the play-in will be given to the next place finisher that is 21 years of age or older.
-You can play and win as many times as you would like.  Winning more
than once helps your odds because that's one less person you will play
against later on.  You WILL NOT get extra chips at the play-in or
final if you win more than once, you just better your odds.
-All Monday shows will have their play-in tournaments on a Monday, all
Tuesday shows will have their play-in tournaments on a Tuesday, etc.
Since all the play-in tournaments take place in one week, if you
qualify for play-in tournaments at two different shows that are held
on the same day and at the same time you have to choose which one you
want to play in.
-The winner of the car is responsible for taxes, tag, title and any
other applicable fees.
-The winner of the car will be issued IRS Form 1099 by the tournament promoter reflecting the fair market value of the vehicle at the time the prize is claimed, and will thus be responsible for paying any and all income taxes associated with this prize. 

-We reserve the right to make changes to, add or remove any of these rules at any time.

2.  Log in (or register if you have never played on our site before - if you are registering as a new player you need to receive and follow the directions in the verification email that will be sent to you after you fill out the "new player" form)

4.  Click on "Redeem coupon" (on the left).  Enter your code and click "Redeem"
5.  Go back to the list of tables and click on "Multi table tournaments."  Find the appropriate game, click on it and register!

And now Josh Floyd....

 End of Day 1: 135 (15 tables of 9)

Josh started out the day in good fashion.  He started with 20,000 in chips and was fluctuating around that figure for the first two hours.  At this initial table he was seated with pros, Chris Moneymaker and Chloe Gowen.  A memorable moment was when Josh and Moneymaker were heads up and on the river, Josh checked, Moneymaker bet 600 and Josh reraised him to 1800.  Moneymaker stared at Josh for about 3 minutes before folding his hand.  In another hand, Josh reraised someone at his table to 1200, the other guy called and Josh showed his pocket aces that took down the pot.

Shortly before dinner break, Josh got hit big when he called a huge bet on the river and the guy had two pair to Josh's AK with an A on the board.  He was down to around 4000 at that point.  His next hand gave him pocket QQ and he was able to double up.  He was shortly thereafter transferred to another table.

At the new table was Mimi Tran.  Josh was at about 9000 when the following memorable hand occurred.  Preflop, Mimi raised the big blind by three times.  Josh reraised Mimi's bet and Mimi called.  Heads up between Josh and Mimi.  The flop showed a rainbow 10, 10, 2.  Josh bet big and Mimi asked how much he had left in front of him.  Josh replied 3800, so Mimi reraised putting Josh all-in if he called.  Josh thought about it for a while and finally he called going all in.  Josh turned over pocket QQ and Mimi had pocket 77.  The QQ held and Josh took down the pot.

Later (after the dinner break), Josh had pocket 44 and the flop gave him the set and Josh was able to triple up.  At that point he had appx. 31,000 in chips.

This was shortlived and a later hand lowered Josh's chip stack to appx. 10,000.  The antes and the blinds were slowly eating away and Josh was not getting good hands to play.

He finished the day with 6800 in chips.  The average chip stack is about 38,000, so tomoroow will be a crucial day for Josh.  Hopefully he will be able to double down a couple of times and get himself up to appx. 30,000.

He will be at a new table tomorrow.....perhaps it will bring him some luck.

The new League started April 16th.  If you signed up already for our league (in our previous league runs) you do not need to re-register.
The same rules apply as the last  league run.  Your final lscore is your best 15 scores over the next 20 weeks.  Bonus Points of 6, 4 and 2 will be added to your league score for finishing in the top 3 on the night you play.

This tournament is for the 50 top ranked teams.  We will be giving

 The current Full House Hold'em League started on August 21st.  You can go out and win points again at your favorite bars for another chance at winning GREAT PRIZES, INCLUDING A MINIMUM OF A $10K SEAT TO THE WINNER!
