As to be expected when dealing with the Top 50 teams in the League, it was a closely contested tournament.  Thanks to everyone who came out to play, and big thanks to TJ's Sports Bar and their hardworking staff.  On a personal note, this was one of the friendliest and most enthusiastic groups of teams we've had in a tournament, and we truly appreciate it.  Congratulations to our winners, and to all teams in general for qualifying for this tournament!

Last Sunday's Tournament of Champions was HUGE!  Thanks for the tremendous turn-out, and glad everyone had a good time; we really appreciate everyone's enthusiasm.  We noticed several teams who are relatively new to the League and were playing in their first Championship Tournament, including our overall winner!  Congratulations! And it was a pleasure to meet our "regional" champions from Wisconsin, Pensacola, and Michigan; we were thrilled you could join us.   Huge thanks to Varner's Tavern, North River Tavern, and Suburban Tap, and all their staffs who helped everything run smoothly.  And of course, we couldn't have done it without the fine work by our hosts James, Marc, and Will, as well as Andre, Cat, Dawn, Diane, Grif, Jennifer, John, Larry, Mike, Milo, Rael, and Sue - super job everyone! 

With the exception of our out-of-town teams from different franchises, if you played at Varner's, that means you were in the Top 50 at the end of the "season", and you qualify for a "bonus tournament", for a chance to win a little extra cash.  Information regarding the Top 50 "Bonus Tournament" will be posted soon.
